The Auto-Color Cell tab will set the background coloring of cells in the selected column to change based on the cell value and its relation to either the value as of the prior bar or whether the value is above or below zero (or above or below a custom value that you specify).
Once you apply this formatting to a column, adjust the Row Height and Column Width as necessary to achieve the look that you want.
Note: After formatting has been applied to the Grid you can double-click anywhere in the Grid to temporarily hide all formatting so that you can quickly view the underlying numbers. Double-click again and the formatting will return.

| • | Auto-Up Cell Color: Click on this color selector to set the color to be used for an "up" condition. |
| • | Auto-Dn Cell Color: Click on this color selector to set the color to be used for a "down" condition. |
| • | Auto-Neutral Cell Color: Click on this color selector to set the color to be used for a "neutral" condition. |
You can set the behavior of the auto-cell color feature by selecting an option from the drop-down field just to the right of the color selectors. The options are:
| 1. | Prior Bar: When this option is selected, the background color of the cells in the current column will be based on the current cell value compared to the value in the same cell as of the prior bar. So if the current value is 10.0 and the value as of the prior bar was 9.5, then the background would be colored using the Up Cell Color because 10.0 is greater than 9.5. |
| 2. | +/- Zero: When this option is selected, the background color of the cells in the current column will be based on whether the current cell value is above or below zero. If the value is above zero then the background would be colored using the Up Cell Color. If the value is below zero then the background would be colored using the Dn Cell Color. If the value is equal to zero then the background would be colored using the Neutral Cell Color. |
| 3. | Custom Value: When this option is selected, the background color of the cells in the current column will be based on whether the current cell value is above or below a custom value that you define. The behavior is identical to the +/- Zero option except that the custom value you define is used instead of zero. |
| • | Custom Value: If "Custom Value" is selected for auto-coloring then set the value to be used in this field. It can be any real number. |

Note: Once you have applied formatting to the Grid, that formatting remains with the associated script. If you then modify the script by adding or removing columns, the formatting may need to be adjusted.
