The ScanExpert Viewer window, and therefore the Grid, can be resized as needed. To resize the window, move the cursor near any window border and when the cursor changes to a resizing-cursor, simply hold down the left mouse button and drag left or right, or up or down. You can also move the window by moving the mouse cursor into the window title area at the top of the window, then hold down the left mouse button and drag the window to its new location.
More often than not, the number of rows in the grid will exceed the size of the grid window. You can scroll up and down through the grid by clicking on the scroll bar on the right-hand side of the grid and dragging it either up or down. There are also some keyboard shortcuts available for grid navigation:

CTRL-END |

Note: If the number of columns exceeds the width of the ScanExpert Viewer window, use the scroll bar at the bottom of the grid to scroll left or right.
| • | Row Height: The row height can be adjusted at any time by moving your mouse cursor between any two rows in the Symbols column and then either dragging up or down. |

Resizing a row
Note: A change in row height affects all rows in the grid simultaneously.
| • | Column Width: The width of any column can be adjusted at any time by moving your mouse cursor between any two columns in the header row and then either dragging left or right. Column resizing only affects the selected column. |

Resizing a column
Note: A change in column width only affects the selected column.
Cells in the fixed Symbols column will respond to mouse double-clicks in one of two ways:
| • | Show Data: If this mode is selected then when you double-click on a cell in the Symbols column, a Data Dialog will be displayed for that security showing you all of the price data collected for that security. The fields in this dialog include Date/Time, Open, High, Low, Close, and Volume. |

Double-click on a symbol to display the Data Dialog
You can sort on any column in the Data Dialog by clicking on the column header. To close the Data Dialog, click on the Close button or press the ESC key.
| • | Show URL: If this mode is selected then when you double-click on a cell in the Symbols column, your default browser will be launched and taken to a pre-defined URL based on the symbol you have clicked on. |
To switch modes between View Data, View URL, and Link Symbol right-click in the Symbols column and select the desired action from the drop down menu.

To define the URL that will be used for the View URL option, right-click in the Symbols column and select the Set URL option from the drop-down menu. The Set Symbol URL dialog will be displayed.

Define the URL
Here you can type in any URL that you would like to use. Note that the "%s" variable will be replaced with the actual symbol name when you double-click on a cell in the Symbols column. So, for example, if the URL you define is http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=%s (which happens to be the default URL) and you double-click on the cell for symbol IBM, the resulting URL will be http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=IBM, which would take you to the data page for IBM on the Yahoo!Finance web site. Click on the Apply button to save your changes. Click on the Cancel button or press the ESC key to cancel.
| • | Refresh Symbol: You can reload data for a specific symbol by selecting the Refresh Symbol option from the Symbols column drop down menu. If the row contains references to multiple bar intervals for that symbol, all bar intervals will be reloaded. |
