The Configuration Manager dialog in ScanExpert Viewer is used to select the script that will be applied to the data as well as to select the portfolio of securities that will be monitored. There are also a number of system options that can be set via the Configuration Manager.
To launch the Configuration Manager, click on the Configuration button on the ScanExpert Viewer toolbar.
Note: You cannot access the Configuration Manager when a ScanExpert session is running. If a session is running, you will first need to cancel the session by clicking on the Halt button on the toolbar.

The Configuration Manager is comprised of 4 screens:
| 1. | Script: Select the script to be loaded into ScanExpert Viewer. |
| 2. | Symbols: Select or create a portfolio of securities to monitor. |
| 3. | Options: Adjust various system settings. |
| 4. | Program Info: View file and directory information. |
Note: At a minimum you must select a script and a portfolio of securities before ScanExpert will operate. When both have been selected, click on the Done button in the Configuration Manager to return to the ScanExpert Viewer main screen.
