The Grid is the primary display area for the ScanExpert Viewer application.

The ScanExpert Viewer display grid
The Grid is similar to a spreadsheet in that it has columns and rows. The Grid will always have a Header row (where the column titles are displayed) and a fixed Symbols column, where the security symbol and bar interval are displayed. A row is created in the Grid for each security that exists in the portfolio you have selected. So if your portfolio contains 10 securities then the Grid will have 10 rows (plus the Header row) for a total of 11 rows. If your portfolio contains 500 securities then the Grid will have 500 rows (plus the Header row) for a total of 501 rows.
Note: The maximum number of rows that can be displayed is 500, for a total of 501 when you include the header row.
The columns displayed in the Grid are defined by the script you have loaded. Once a script has been loaded, you can use your mouse to drag columns to new positions if you wish. Columns can be linked to standard data points such as date, time, open, high, low, close, and volume or they can be linked to formulas. Scripts are created by using the ScanExpert Wizard module.
Note: The maximum number of columns that can be displayed is 40, for a total of 41 columns when you include the default Symbols column.
