The ScanExpert Wizard module is used to:

Define the columns that will be displayed in the ScanExpert Viewer Grid.
Assign study formulas to columns and configure them. ScanExpert ships with 80+ "built-in" study formulas and they can be used as-is or combined in the Wizard to create new formulas.
Assign alternate bar intervals to study formulas (optional).
Create user-defined conditions that can be assigned to a display column (optional).
Create user-defined conditions that can be used to trigger alerts (optional).

Once the definition process is complete, the ScanExpert Wizard will generate a script that will, in turn, drive the ScanExpert Viewer Grid. A script is simply a source code file that defines the columns of information that will be displayed in the ScanExpert Viewer Grid. By "columns" we mean common data points like Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Close, and Volume as well as study formulas such as moving averages, oscillators, bands, volatility indicators, etc. Columns can also contain the results of user-defined conditions, and these same conditions can be used to generate alerts.

You can create an unlimited number of scripts using the ScanExpert Wizard. Once you have created a script, you simply load that script into the ScanExpert Viewer, select a portfolio of symbols to use in conjunction with that script, and click on the Start button on the Viewer toolbar. That's it.

To launch the Wizard, click on the Wizard button on the ScanExpert Viewer toolbar.
