Several of our HPC for TradingView indicators have alert options in their settings menu. These allow you to toggle various alerts on and off. However, to actually configure and generate alerts you need to make use of the TradingView Alert Dialog. This is because all TradingView alerts are run server-side and the alert needs to be defined in TradingView before it will operate.

As an example, let's say that you have the HPC Watchlist loaded into a chart and you want to receive any alerts generated for all of the symbols being monitored. By default, all of the alert-related options are checked in the HPC Watchlist. So what you need to do next is activate the alerts in TradingView:

Load the HPC Watchlist indicator into your chart and set the chart to the bar interval that you wish to monitor.

Click on the Alert button at the top of your TradingView layout.

In the Condition option, click on the drop-down arrow and select the indicator that will be used (HPC Watchlist).

In the Expiration time section make sure the Open-ended option is checked.

In the Alert Actions section, check all of the notification options that you wish to use.

In the Alert Name section, type in a descriptive name for this particular alert. This is what your Alerts dialog will look like when done:

Click on the Create button and your alert will be created by TradingView.

As mentioned above, all alerts in TradingView are run server-side rather than client-side. This means that all alerts that you define using the Alert Dialog will remain active even if that particular chart or layout is not currently loaded. The alerts will continue to remain active even if you close TradingView. There is a overall limit on the total number of alerts that you can have active at any time and it is based on your TradingView subscription (i.e., Basic, Pro, Pro+, or Premium).

Basic is limited to 1 active alert

Pro is limited to 20 active alerts.

Pro+ is limited to 100 active alerts.

Premium is limited to 400 active alerts.

The benefit to creating your alerts using the HPC Watchlist (i.e., rather than using the HPC (Combo) chart pattern iindicator) is that the HPC Watchlist is monitoring a total of 9 symbols but you are using only one TradingView alert instance.
